The May 50K
We did it! We finished The May 50K!
For those that missed it, in May 2020, my team ‘Wellness Warriors’ and I decided to participate in the Kiss Goodbye to MS initiative ‘The May 50K’. The May 50K was a virtual fitness and fundraising challenge. The challenge was to walk 50 kilometers throughout the month of May to keep fit, active and connected whilst raising vital funds for research into Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Together, my team and I walked a total of 476.54 kilometers and TOGETHER, we have raised $10,635 so far! What an extremely AMAZING achievement!
A MASSIVE thank you to our donors for your generous contributions. We could not have achieved this amazing amount without each and every one of you. We will forever be grateful.
For those who have contacted us to check if donations are still being accepted, yes, our fundraising pages will still be active until the 30 June 2020.
Thank you, your support truly means so much, fundraising link below:

Personally, I have absolutely loved participating in The May 50K! I loved sharing this experience with my team, I loved the surprise visits from my team as they walked by, I loved connecting with my family and friends, I loved celebrating my team’s achievements, I loved the challenge, I loved being outdoors, I enjoyed my daily walks, I enjoyed breathing in fresh air, I enjoyed walking in nature, I enjoyed stopping and watching the ducks swim, I enjoyed watching the butterflies flutter through the grass fields, I enjoyed watching birds fly, I enjoyed admiring the colours of beautiful flowers, I enjoyed exploring walking tracks in my local area, I enjoyed watching people ride past on their bikes, I enjoyed watching people rollerblade by, I loved receiving ‘you’ve just received a donation’ emails and I really enjoyed the smiles and ‘hello’s’ every time I walked past someone in my local community!
A MASSIVE thank you to my amazing team for all your efforts and for coming along on this journey with me. I love you all beyond words.
Oh yeah, I also enjoyed recording videos even though it sometimes took nearly 50 times to get it right! (thanks for your patience Anthony!)
Enjoy! :)
I will continue to share my story via my blog on this website and will continue to post ‘blog updates’ on social media.
Thank you once again to each and every one of you.
With much love and gratitude,
Mirella xx
